ACCOMMODATION – is provided on a bed and breakfast basis. Any additions to this service may be charged for at the discretion of the management.
A single room is suitable for one adult only.
Double and twin rooms accommodate a maximum of two persons.
Flexi Room 1 and 2 have a double and single bed and can accommodate 2 adults and a child 14 years of age or under Children should be confirmed when booking. For children under the age of 14 years the current children’s rate will apply. Children older than 14 years will be charged as adults.
ARRIVAL – Check in is between 4.00pm and 6.30pm. If these times are in any way inconvenient, please contact us on 01766 780742 with your approximate arrival time so that we might make alternative arrangements in the event that we are not present to welcome you.
There is ample free parking in the grounds at the side of the house. Vehicles parked on the premises are parked at the owner’s sole risk.
DEPARTURE – Check out is by 10.00am on the day of departure.
PAYMENT – We accept cash or card payment upon departure. We can also accept bank transfers which have been cleared before departure. We regret that we do not accept cheques.
For direct bookings, we secure your reservation using the card details provided. We will verify your card details via our service provider but no charge will be made against your card since no deposit payment is required.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations before 7 days of the reservation will incur no charges.
If cancellations are made within 7 days of the reservation, we reserve the right to charge the cost of the first night’s stay to your card.
If cancellations occur on the day of reservation, or if there is a failure to arrive (no show), we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the stay to your card.
For bookings via an Online Travel Agent (OTA) e.g. ‘Booking.Com’ their terms and conditions will apply regarding the payment and cancellation policy. For non-refundable rates via an OTA, payment is taken at the time of booking.
LIABILITY – We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or any contractors in our employ.
DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES – We reserve the right to charge for breakages and/or damages caused to the accommodation or its contents. We understand that accidents do happen and thus would only charge in the case of significant, malicious, or negligent damage. Please report all such incidents as soon as they occur.
No item should be removed from the property without prior notification of the management.
ROOMS (further information)
Accommodation is on the first floor and Gwrach Ynys does not have wheelchair access (see Access Statement for further details).
Consumption of food is not permitted in the bedrooms, but guests are welcome to use the breakfast room for this purpose.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house. Any evidence of smoking in the rooms will lead to the guests being asked to leave and being charged in full. Guests are welcome to smoke in the garden area, away from the house and where an ashtray is provided.
PETS – We regret that we are not able to accommodate pets.
GARDEN – Gwrach Ynys has a substantial well maintained garden area that guests are welcome to use. Guests should be aware that the surrounding land is agricultural and private and should not be accessed without prior arrangement with the management.
